Anti-Money Laundering module will provide you with the key skills you need to recognise Money Laundering taking place and what action to take if witnessed.

After completing the module, you will be able to:identify what money laundering is and how it works;identify the role of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Money Laundering Regulations of 2007;identify what behaviours may indicate money laundering activity;identify what actions are expected of staff to prevent money laundering;identify what you can and can’t do when you have identified suspicious client behaviour.

Kurt Lewin a German-American psychologist, defined himself and his contributions within three lenses of analysis: applied research, action research, and group communication were his major offerings. One of the Cornerstone models for understanding organizational change was developed by him and is referred to as ""Kurt Lewin's three-stages of Change.

This model breaks into three-stages: Unfreeze, Transition, and Refreeze. In the ""Unfreeze"" stage, an organization prepares for the change. In the ""Transition"" stage, the change takes place and in the ""Refreeze"" stage, the change becomes solidified as the new norm.

Assessment Details

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 70%.

Hovedformålet med kurset er å skape gode holdninger til bruk av riktig verneutstyr, og forhindre at liv og helse går tapt.

Etter kurset skal deltakerne kunne:

- Kjenne til kvalitetssikring av pusteluft, målemetoder og utstyr
- Kjenne til hvilke flasker, seler og hodesett som brukes til pusteluft
- Kjenne til farer og utfordringer ved arbeid i miljøer uten sikker pusteluft, og vite hva han/hun selv kan gjøre for å ivareta egen sikkerhet

Kurset inneholder oppgaver og praktiske øvelser.

Hovedmålet med kurset er å gi deltakerne generelle kunnskaper og ferdigheter som «kompetent person» i periodisk kontroll av ass. fallsikringsutstyr.

Kurset er i henhold til NS-EN- 1591-4. Kurset øker kompetansen og gir grunnleggende kunnskaper innen forberedelse, planlegging, utførelse og dokumentering av arbeid med boltetrekking av flensforbindelser på trykksatte systemer.

Hensikt: Hensikten med kurset å forhindre skade på personell, miljø og utstyr. Dette kan forebygges ved å styrke kompetansen og øke forståelsen hos den enkelte.

Kurset gir en grunnleggende innføring i høytrykkslanger og kuplinger og er et naturlig grunnlag for drifts- og vedlikeholdspersonell som skal foreta inspeksjon og vedlikehold på høytrykksutstyr der slanger inngår som kritiske faktorer i systemet.

Kunne utføre forebyggende inspeksjoner og vedlikehold i henhold til etablerte prosedyrer og leverandørens bruksanvisninger, kunne registrere uregelmessigheter som f.eks høy temperatur, lekkasjer i slanger og kuplinger.

Hensikt:

Etter kurset skal deltagerne ha tilegnet seg kunnskap om høytrykkslanger og kuplinger for å kunne foreta visuell inspeksjon og kontroll for å ivareta sikkerheten, avdekke eventuelle lekkasjer slik at uønskede hendelser ikke oppstår.

Upon completion of the Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST), delegates will have awareness of the dangers that arise when working in the wind industry and how to control and reduce these dangers.

The course covers the requirements for training of personnel and refresher courses both onshore and offshore wind in accordance with:

- Global Wind Organization (GWO)

- Labor Inspection (Regulations)

Competence for "Working at heights" must be maintained in accordance with. guideline in the GWO standard. It shall be conducted refresher training every 2 years.

Kurset starter med fellesteori som er en grunnleggende innføring i aktuelle lover og forskrifter og en grunnleggende innføring i sikker bruk av arbeidsutstyr. Fagdelen vil gi eleven en god teoretisk grunnopplæring i sikker bruk av masseforflyttingsmaskiner samt en god innsikt i oppbygging, virkemåte, vedlikehold og bruk.

Eleven skal gjennomføre teorimodul 1.1 (8 timer), modul 2.1 (24 timer) og  3.1 (8 timer). Dette skal gi førerne en god generell grunnopplæring i sikker bruk og praktisk forståelse for prinsippene for masseforflytningsmaskiner.

Kurset gjennomføres over 5 dager, og avsluttes med en teoretisk prøve.

Etter bestått teoretisk prøve og gjennomført grunnleggende praktisk bruk modul 3.1 + praksiskjøring 32 timer, kan praktisk prøve gjennomføres. Bestått praktisk prøve vil være grunnlag for utstedelse av kompetansebevis for fører av masseforflyttingsmaskin i valgt klasse.

Goals for NEK 405-2 (Electricity control residential)

After completing the course, the participants shall be able to carry out a check of existing installations in a dwelling in accordance with the requirements and recommendations in NEK405-2 Fire prevention electricity control residential. The course is preparatory to taking the exam / certification in NEK405-2.

Oppfølging og oppgavehjelp etter endt kurs

The course is designed for personnel who will have an introduction to potentially explosive areas, markings, equipment and requirements. The participants will receive an introduction according to relevant parts of NEK 420, IEC 60079 standard (NEK EN 60079 standards) as well as national adaptations.  The course is according to NFEA EX-KOMP:2021.

The participants' learning objectives are to have an understanding of:

• The general principles of explosion protection

• Site eligibility

• Gas groups and the relationship between area and equipment

• Temperature classes and the relationship between area and equipment

• The general principles of type protection and marking

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of the course the students should have achieved:

• Thorough knowledge  of the practical aspects of DP Operations
• Capability  to plan and conduct any DP Operation, including risk assessment, contingency planning and assessment of vessel capability
• Ability to undertake any operation with due regard to all circumstances of seamanship and operational requirements
• Ability to react correctly to any circumstances which constitute  or could lead to a catastrophic failure

• Study of DP incidents
• Construction  and use of work site diagrams, charts and vessel templates for use in DP operations
• Preparation  of plans for a projected DP operation, contingency plans for expected deviations and emergencies
• Participation  in simulated situations in a variety of DP operations while handling routine and emergency situations
• Risk  and safety analysis, and defining DP equipment classes
• The  DP system’s utilisation of position measurements,and tests on position reference systems.  

LEARNING PROCESS

The training will be a combination of theoretical lessons and practical exercises. The  participants will work with practical scenarios based on real operations, training on planning and executing specified operations under varying simulated conditions, including emergency handling on DNVGL Class A or B approved simulators.

EXAM OBJECTIVES

This exam tests the skills and competence of a DPO against the requirements given in the competence standard DNV-GL Notation AJ/DPA-WV.

The examination is a thorough test to cover the most important competences for DPO’s irrespective of type of vessel, trade or activity. The test measures how well operation of equipment, duties and tasks are performed, all in compliance with relevant international, national and local regulations and requirements.
