The Course is surely not exhaustive, but it surely will empower the candidate on how to deal with AMSA Inspectors professionally and how to handle the situation maturely and answer correctly.

2) Keep all the required documents and certificates ready for an inspection prior to the AMSA inspector boarding the vessel.

3) Ensure all the special charts and publications required for Australian waters are readily available. 

4) List the various parameters/points on how a boat and fire drill is evaluated by the AMSA inspector and can prepare the crew accordingly.

5) Understand the responsibility and importance of having the right attitude when dealing with third-party inspectors, 

6) Understand the importance of good housekeeping, accurate record keeping and complying with the Company SMS, International statutory, Flag state and AMSA requirements 

7) Confidently carry out any test or reply to any question asked by the AMSA inspector, which in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.
