STCW – Security Awareness, table A‑VI/6‑1 Is there an assessment? The exam includes questions on the theory aspects covered during the initial eLearning AND the activities completed during the onboard assessment. You should not attempt the exam until you have completed both aspects of the training. Certificate: When the training is completed a certificate is issued by the Norwegian Maritime Authority. The Norwegian Maritime Authority charge an additional fee to issue the formal STCW Certificate.
