FAST TRACK is a learning method which provides you with bespoke learning content by identifying any knowledge gaps you may have in a particular subject area.

 

FAST TRACK is a pre-assessment learning tool which is designed to assess your existing knowledge of a particular subject area. The pre-assessment uses a pool of questions to test your current knowledge. The results of this assessment help identify your personal knowledge gaps. FAST TRACK then automatically creates a bespoke course to address these knowledge gaps.

 

This course covers the following learning objectives:

 

LO1 Define what is meant by ‘working at height’

LO2 Identify the key pieces of legislation that help to control work at height

LO3 Explain the duties that are placed on employers and employees by the Work at Height Regulations

LO4 Describe the hazards involved in working at height

LO5 Explain the importance of planning and risk assessment

LO6 Describe the hierarchy of control for managing and selecting equipment for work at height

LO7 Identify the factors that should be considered when assessing the method to be used for working at height

LO8 Describe the main methods of access for working at height and give examples of the different types of working at height equipment

LO9 Describe the rules for working with ladders

LO10 Describe the rules for working with scaffolds

LO11 Explain the importance of inspecting equipment
