Kurset er basert på 4 dager og består av klasseromsundervisning og praktiske oppgaver der hydrauliske vri og strekkverktøy samt momentnøkkel blir gjennomgått.

 

Kurset avsluttes med en teoretisk og praktisk eksamen med sensor. 

Kursinnhold:
Kurset tar for seg følgende tabeller i EN1591-4:2013:
1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 og 10.

Hovedoppgavene under opplæringen vil være:
- Hva skjer når du tiltrekker bolter og muttere
- Pakninger / tetningsringer – Typer og applikasjoner og installasjon
- Flenstetningspor / overflateruhet
- Rett montering av flensforbindelser
- Smøremiddel på bolter og mutter
- Sikker bolt last verdi for bolten
- Viktigheten av den gjenværende bolt lasten
- Metoder for bolt opptrekking
- Manuelt vri verktøy
- Hydrauliske muttertrekkere
- Hydraulisk strekkverktøy
- Typer flenser
- Rør detaljer
- Prosedyrer og rapportering
- Skjeve forbindelser (ikke parallelle flenser)

This course is made for personnel who organize or perform: planning, installation, inspection and maintenance of Ex equipment.

The course gives an introduction and repetition in different subjects treated in the IEC 60079 Standard (NEK EN 60079).

The course duration is 5 hours and is valid for 5 years

The course can also be taken as a refresher course for Ex maintenance


Themes:

• Fundamental Ex philosophy, refresher

• Preparing and installing electrical equipment in hazardous areas

• Inspection and maintenance of electrical equipment in Ex areas

• Understand what maintenance tasks can be done locally, and what must be performed by an authorized workshop

• Give candidates for CompEx certification a solid background for the theoretical assessment

Before enrolling, candidates must confirm access to a qualified Onboard Assessor holding:

  • STCW A-I/6 Onboard Assessor or Train the Trainer certificate
  • STCW A-VI/5 Ship Security Officer certificate and Norwegian Certificate of Competency or Norwegian Maritime Rules and Regulations certificate 

Failure to meet the above assessor requirements will result in the training not being approved.

STCW Training for courses approved by the NMA. 
Training includes:

  • eLearning (90 min)
  • Onboard practical training (20 hrs)
  • Final exam (60 min)
