The object of this course is to help course participants maintain and develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes regarding their role in an emergency response situation.

This course consists of a representative selection of the material from the Lifeboat Coxswain Conventional Lifeboat – Basic Course, adapted to participants’ previous knowledge, with major emphasis on practical training and drills.

This course is valid for 24 months.

Minstekrav til kompetanse for redningsfarkoster og mann-overbord-båter unntatt hurtiggående mann-overbord-båter. STCW tabell A-VI/2-1

Innhold:

Lede, sjøsette og betjene båt og utstyr. 

Organisere og lede evakuering fra skip ved hjelp av redningsfarkost. 

Klargjøre livbåten, organisere ombordstigning, låre og frigjøre båten, manøvrere og lede operasjonen av livbåten på vannet. 

Metoder for å starte og betjene motor med tilbehør på redningsfarkost sammen med bruk av farkostens brannslokkingsapparat.

ECDIS er et pc-basert navigasjonsverktøy som kan brukes som et alternativ til tradisjonelle papirkart, såkalt papirløs navigasjon.

ECDIS og elektroniske kart (ENC) er en total forandring fra å navigere med tradisjonelle papirkart, med mange fordeler og nye muligheter. Brukt på riktig måte kan ECDIS være med på å sikre og effektivisere dagens ”moderne” navigasjon. På den annen side så er det mange nye utfordringer. Manglende kunnskap om ECDIS og om kompleksiteten i elektroniske kart (ENC) vil være en risikofaktor.

Dette kurset gir grunnleggende kunnskaper, ferdigheter og forståelse av ECDIS og elektroniske kart (ENC). Kurset har ikke som mål å lære bort grunnleggende navigasjon, men hvordan man bruker ECDIS til sikker navigering.

ECDIS kurset er i henhold til IMO-modell kurs 1.27 (2012 EDITION), og STCW Chapter II, Section A-II/1 and Table A-II/1, Table A-II/2 og Table A-II/3.


Ved fullført kurs, skal kursdeltakerne:

- kunne bruke ECDIS på det samme trygge og effektive nivå som ved bruk av konvensjonelle papirkart
- ha kunnskap om muligheter og begrensninger med ECDIS
- kunne vurdere all relevant informasjon og kunne gjøre riktige tiltak i tilfelle en feil
- være kompetent og ha fått en god forståelse av elektroniske kart (ENC)
- kjenne operasjonelle prosedyrer
- kjenne til prosedyrer for elektroniske kart (oppdatering, bestilling, permits etc.)

Ce cours est conçu pour :

• Présenter les grandes lignes du processus d'Évaluation de l'impact environnemental (EIA)

• Décrire les contrôles législatifs en vigueur concernant l'EIA 

• Identifier les projets pour lesquels une Déclaration environnementale (ES) est obligatoire, et quand une révision d'une ES existante peut être nécessaire

• Identifier les activités pour lesquelles une Orientation de l'EIA peut être requise, plutôt qu'une ES

• Identifier les activités qui sont « exclues » et qui n'exigent ni ES ni Orientation de l'EIA

• Décrire les différentes étapes du processus d'EIA et identifier les types de consultations qui doivent être effectuées

• Identifier les zones qui doivent être soigneusement étudiées afin de déterminer l'impact potentiel sur leur environnement, et

• Connaître les délais pour mener une ES ou une Orientation de l'EIA

Almost half of remote workers have experienced work-related pains. One of the most problematic aspects of home working is the isolation and the lack of access to day-to-day informal interactions. While remote working enables greater autonomy, it also leads to higher levels of work intensity. The ‘24/7’ availability for work can result in family conflict and stress. The object of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to control and coordinate the available resources at the site in an actual emergency, and to act as a liaison with the central emergency control room on the installation in order to save and protect people's lives and health, limit damage to the environment and safeguard material assets.

Kurset inneholder brannvern, røykdykking, brannslokking, sjøredning, grunnleggende førstehjelp og personlig sikkerhet og omsorg for menneskeliv og miljø. Kurset er godkjent etter IMO regelverket og gjelder hele verden.
