Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 60%.

In this course, we will explore cascading goals. Organizations have used cascading goals in its performance management process for decades. English as a Second Language (ESL) is a traditional term for the use or study of the English dialect by non-native speakers in an English-talking surrounding. Those surroundings can be a country in which English is a native language or one in which English has an accepted role. English as a Second Language further refers to dialect education designed for those whose dominant language is not English.

Kurs for personell som skal tjenestegjøre som SSO om bord på skip eller flyttbare innrettninger. Etter 1/7-09 må personell inneha "Certificate of proficiency". Dette er et sertifikat som utstedes etter gjennomført og bestått kurs. ISPS er IMOs internasjonale kode for sikkerhet og terrorberedskap på skip og i havneterminaler. 

Kurset gjennomføres i henhold til STCW-konvensjonens regel VI/2, VI/3 og VI/4, avsnitt A-VI/2, A-VI/3 og A-VI/4 og tabell A-VI/2-1, A-VI/3-1, A-VI/4-1 og A-VI/4-2. Basert på IMO modell kurs 1.14, 1.23, 2.03 og 1.21. Dette innebærer repetisjon av praktisk og teoretisk opplæring innen:

Ta kommando over en redningsfarkost eller MOB-båt under og etter utsetting

Betjene motor på en redningsfarkost

Håndtere overlevende og redningsfarkost etter evakuering av skipet

Varighet:

Teoridelen gjennomføres som e-læring i forkant og tar ca 4 timer. Den praktiske delen av kurset gjennomføres fra 0815 til ca. 1630.

Tillegg for de som skal på britisk sektor:

Det er mulig å ta Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System Training (CA-EBS) samt bi-deltoid skuldermåling, som er obligatorisk for helikopterpassasjerer på britisk sektor, i forbindelse med kurset. Dette tas direkte etter repetisjonskurset og tar ca 1 time.

Repetisjonsfrekvens

Alle må repetere kurset innen 4 år etter gjennomføre grunnkurs eller etter forrige repetisjonskurs for å kunne reise ut på norsk sokkel. Fra 4 til 8 år etter gjennomført forrige kurs kan man repetere kurset før utreise. Hvis det går mer enn 8 år fra gjennomført grunnkurs eller fra forrige repetisjonskurs så må man ta nytt grunnkurs.

Annet:

Alle må ta med varm underbekledning i den kalde årstiden.

Ta også med badetøy, håndkle for bruk i svømmehallen.

Forkurs på risikoforståelse og riktig atferd slik at sikkerheten til involvert personell ivaretas under arbeidsoperasjoner. Kurset er iht. Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid og opplæringsplan utarbeidet av ptil.

Repetisjonsfrekvens:

Opplæringen skal repeteres hver 24. måned av personell som utøver MOB-båt mannskap funksjon.

Annet:

Alle kursdeltakere må medbringe underbekledning i den kalde årstiden.

Repetisjonsfrekvens:

All sikkerhetsopplæring skal oppdateres hvert 5.år og innen 8 år hvis kurset er gjennomført før 31.12.2025.
