Theory exam

The objective of this learning measure is that the person receiving training shall acquire sufficient theoretical knowledge and safe use of G5 Offshore cranes for handling cargo internally, in the open sea, against ships, and/or floating facilities and underwater lift.

The objective of the training is that the person being trained, acquires basic knowledge and practical skills about the safe use of lifting equipment and proper signaling to the crane operator, so that accidents are avoided by use.

Kurset er beregnet for navigatører som har tjenestegjort minst 12 av de siste 60 måneder på skip som har sikkerhetsstyringssystem som ivaretar krav om sikkerhetskompetanse.

I tillegg kan de som innhar gyldig Dekksoffisers sertifikat og ikke nok fartstid gjennomføre kurset.

Oppdatering medisinsk behandling er inkludert i kurset.

Krav til forkunnskap: Kursdeltager skal ha gjennomført og bestått opplæring i henhold til videregående sikkerhetsopplæring regel VI/2 nr. 1, VI/3 og VI/4 nr. 1.

Dette skal dokumenteres ved gyldig kompetansesertifikat for offiserer (dekk-, maskin- eller skipselektriker) eller gyldig kursbevis på videregående sikkerhetskurs.

Hvis kompetansen er utgått må det dokumenteres 12 måneders fartstid med gyldig kurs eller sertifikat for offiserer. Dette beregnes 5 år tilbake fra kursets oppstartdato.

Læremål: Etter kurset skal deltakerne kunne demonstrere kompetanse gitt i STCW kodens tabeller A-VI/2-1, A-VI/3 og A-VI/4-1 og Medisinsk behandling iht. STCW tabell A-VI/4-2.

Kurset er i henhold til: STCW-78, med endringer (inkl. 2010 Manila-endringene)

Endring av kursdato: Må avtales senest 7 dager før kursstart i kontortid 0830-1500.
