Most boat owners in Denmark buy systems from Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, Furuno, or Lowrance. But there is an alternative: to have a PC-based system on board. In the course, you will learn about the possibilities of purchasing a charting program, an interface to NMEA2000 from the PC, and various sensors such as GPS, LOG, LOD, AIS, and Radar. Choosing a PC system allows you to customise your system to suit your needs perfectly. You also learn about the requirements for a PC, including which power source to connect.

Critical thinking is an essential part of your everyday life. Thinking critically can help you make quick decisions in challenging situations and identify solutions in the face of adversity. Critical thinking also allows you to use available resources effectively while considering risks and potential problems that could arise.

 

In this course, we will define critical thinking. We will look at the different types of critical thinking and how we can develop such skills.

This Advanced Laundry Service course is an intensive Learning Experience designed to develop your skills and knowledge in both delivering and managing top-class laundry services onboard, as well as understanding laundry-related topics.

 

Using this E-Learning course, we help you develop a sound theoretical foundation. At the end of the course, we will be able to offer you the opportunity to do further study with the IAMI GUEST program to check your level of skill and ability in laundry through a series of video and photo assignments which will be evaluated against strict criteria as set out by the IAMI GUEST Syllabus.
