In this course we break down 2,000 products the company manufactures into segments and 'bite size' chunks. By the end of the course, the student will have gained an in depth knowledge of yacht fittings which could assist them into leisure marine employment.

The objectives for this course are to: Understand what suicide is; Understand the signs and symptoms of emotional distress; Discuss risk factors which could lead to suicidal thoughts or behaviours; Understand the impact of substance abuse on mental health & suicidal tendencies; Learn how to use the CARE action plan to support someone in a crisis; Be able to start a conversation with someone experiencing suicidal thoughts; Understand stigma within suicide and mental health; Identify our own attitudes to suicide & potential personal barriers to overcome. - Learn signposting & referral options to support those who need it most - Understand the need for effective self-care & ways to fulfil this

Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.

 

In this course, we will go through a 5 minute daily reset workout together with our instructor.

Upon completing this course, you will be able to describe the salient points of Rule 6 and to whom the rule applies. You will also be able to apply the rule and answer Officer of the Watch level orals questions.

Students will learn the different sound signals used on the type of vessel they are navigating on, as well as recognise the surrounding boats in order to avoid any unintentional accident.
