After completing the course the student will conduct a theoretical and a practical test to show that he / she has acquired sufficient knowledge of laws, regulations, standards termologi, construction, certification, labeling, control and disposal rules for different types of lifting equipment and control procedures, NDE composition implements and completion of certificates and inspection reports. After completing the course, the candidate should independently be able to conduct a periodic expert inspection.

The purpose of the course is to give operators a good theoretical and practical basic training in NORSOK standard R-003.The training will provide a general understanding of the structure, content and contribute to an accepted level of safety for personnel, property and the environment in planning and execution of lifting operations.At same time as one will particularly focus on responsibility and attitude in the performance of lifting operations.
