This course consists of 3 modules. It gives an insight about the various work permit onboard. This must be viewed in conjunction with your SMS and your company-specific work permit procedures and checklists. 

The course explains which jobs need a permit, the different types of permits, the various sections in a permit to work and most importantly, the various challenges associated with a work permit.

This course also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.

At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to

2) Understand when a work permit is required and will be able to explain what is a non-routine or a high-risk job.

3) Explain the different sections of a work permit
