This course deals with the procedures on how to enter enclosed spaces; this must be viewed in conjunction with your SMS and your company-specific enclosed space procedures and checklists. 

This course gives a general overview of what is an enclosed space, examples of various enclosed spaces onboard; it shows you a sample of a warning sign required for an enclosed space.

A brief explanation of the enclosed space entry permit and the enclosed space log described, the ventilation and gas checks to be carried out and the various equipment that need to be kept in a state of readiness explained.

This course also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.
