This Bundle consist of 10 modules; this gives an insight as to what questions to expect at a third-party inspection, and it also ensures that the candidate is familiar with the ship-specific details and the company requirements.

The modules are definitely not exhaustive, but they surely will empower the candidate on how to deal with third-party inspectors professionally, how to handle the situation maturely and answer correctly.

1) The candidate will learn about bridge procedures, especially emergency preparedness, how to check and test various bridge equipment, the Master’s standing orders, Bridge manning levels and a detailed concentrated focus on ECDIS.

2) Specially designed to enhance the safety culture onboard, the module dealing with various work permits with a special focus on enclosed space and hot work permits, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings will strengthen the safety culture onboard.

3) The section on mooring equipment, Ballast water management and Gas detection equipment is explained in depth, including various checks and tests to be carried out 

4) It also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence. 

5) It will help combine your knowledge, core competency, your soft skills, your situational awareness and your attitude and empower you to be an efficient member of the vessel’s team.

 

Learning Objectives:-

At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to

1) Confidently answer any question related to emergency preparedness and will be able to comply with most of the navigational procedures on the bridge ( refer to the ship Navigation Manual) 

2) Correctly carry out various operations which require the use of work permits and risk assessments; they will be able to hold effective toolbox talks.

3) Understand the responsibility and importance of having the right attitude when dealing with third-party inspectors, 

4) Understand the importance of good housekeeping, accurate record keeping and complying with the Company SMS, International statutory, and flag state requirements 

5) Confidently carry out any test or reply to any question asked by any inspector or auditor, which will boost the candidate's confidence.
