Varighet:

Kurset gjennomføres på minimum 8 timer fordelt på 1 dag.

Repetisjonsfrekvens:

All sikkerhetsopplæring skal oppdateres hvert 5.år.

Deltakerne vil få en god og sikker innføring i høytrykkstestingsutstyr, teori og praksis. Etter endt kurs skal deltakerne kunne bruke trykkstestingsutstyr på en sikker måte, slik at ulykker og skader unngås.

Hensikt:

Hensikt: Hensikten med innføringskurs i trykktesting er å gi den enkelte kursdeltager de grunnleggende kunnskaper om forberedelser, planlegging, utførelse og dokumentering av trykktesting som disiplin.

Course Description:-

This bundle consists of 10 modules dealing with the inspection of the upper deck area.

This bundle focuses on the upper deck area and focuses on various checks, including checking the general housekeeping, the deck equipment and machinery, the LSA and FFA in general, the Manifold area, and the emergency preparedness, how to test various associated deck equipment and ensure all the equipment is ready for immediate use. 

1) You will be guided on how to carry out various checks in specific areas like the Midship crane, gangway and pilot ladder, Deck seal, PV breaker, the pipelines in general, SOPEP equipment, the status of the IG tank valves, the manifolds especially the off shore manifolds, Cargo hose connections, scupper and drain plugs of various save-alls and the mooring winches and mooring lines, This module will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors.

2) It will help combine your knowledge, core competency, your soft skills, your situational awareness and your attitude and empower you to be an efficient member of the vessel’s team.

3) It will assure the candidate on how to deal with third-party Inspectors professionally and how to handle the situation maturely. It also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.  

Learning Objectives:-

At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to:

1) Demonstrate and carry out systematic checks and tests whilst inspecting the upper deck area and will be able to ensure that the aft deck is compliant in all respects and ready for inspection.

2) Demonstrate the various general checks that are carried out in specific areas like Midship crane, gangway and pilot ladder, SOPEP equipment, scuppers on deck and drain plugs of various save-alls and the mooring winches and mooring lines, and will be able to ensure that these areas are compliant in all respects and ready for inspection.

3) Demonstrate the various general checks that are carried out whilst inspecting the Deck seal, PV breaker, pipelines, the status of the IG tank valves, the manifolds, especially the offshore manifolds, and Cargo hose connections and will be able to ensure that these equipment are compliant in all respects and ready for inspection.

4) Understand the responsibility and importance of having the right attitude when dealing with third-party inspectors.

5) Understand the importance of good housekeeping, accurate record keeping and complying with the Company SMS, International statutory and Flag state requirements.

Course Description:-

This Bundle consist of 18 modules; this gives an insight as to what questions to expect at a third-party inspection, and it also ensures that the candidate is familiar with the ship-specific details and the company requirements.

The modules are not exhaustive, but they will empower the candidate on dealing with third-party inspectors professionally.

The candidate will get a preview of real situations on board, and how they could deal with the situation, in case the candidate is unsure, there are options to choose from; this module has a score and a little anger meter on the top right of the screen so the candidate will be able to judge the expressions of the inspector and also get a score to know how he/she performed.

It gives them an insight into the technical questions that could be asked by managers or third-party inspectors

It also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.

Have self-confidence and self-assurance whilst dealing with third-party inspectors.
