This is a course on electrical installations in potentially explosive areas.

Our goal is to ensure that employees are motivated to work safely and securely.

After completing the course, they will have sufficient knowledge to be able to participate in the installation of Ex equipment and carry out inspection and maintenance safely.

The participants' learning objectives are to understand:

• General principles for explosion protection

• Area classification and zone division

• Gas groups and the connection between area and equipment

• Temperature classes and the connection between area and equipment

• The general principles for type of protection and marking

• Inspection and maintenance in an explosive environment

• How maintenance work is carried out in an explosive environment

• What the participant can do theirself, and what must be submitted to an authorized workshop

Course Description:-

This bundle consists of 3 modules, which include an inspection of the Pump room.

This bundle focuses on the Pump room.  

1) You will be guided on how to carry out various checks to be carried out in the pump room, starting from the entrance and working our way down to the bottom platform, carrying out various checks as done by various inspectors and auditors. This module will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors.

2) It will help combine your knowledge, core competency, your soft skills, your situational awareness and your attitude and empower you to be an efficient member of the vessel’s team.

3) It will assure the candidate on how to deal with third-party Inspectors professionally and how to handle the situation maturely. It also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.  

Learning Objectives:-

At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to

1) Carry out systematic checks and tests whilst inspecting the pumproom, including the Mechanical ventilation, high suction dampers, checking the COP mechanical seals, cargo sea chest testing arrangements, communication, bilge testing etc.; this will ensure that these spaces are compliant and ready for inspection.

2) Understand the responsibility and importance of having the right attitude when dealing with third-party inspectors, 

3) Understand the importance of good housekeeping, accurate record keeping and complying with the Company SMS, International statutory and Flag state requirements.

Course Description:-

This bundle consists of 16 modules, which include all the Lifesaving and fire-fighting appliances on board.

This bundle focuses on the Life-saving and firefighting appliances on board.

1) You will be guided on how to carry out various checks and tests for the emergency fire pump, various fixed firefighting systems, lifeboats, life rafts, life buoys, Emergency headquarters etc. This module will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors.

2) It will help combine your knowledge, core competency, your soft skills, your situational awareness and your attitude and empower you to be an efficient member of the vessel’s team.

3) It will assure the candidate on how to deal with third-party Inspectors professionally and how to handle the situation maturely. It also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.  

Learning Objectives:-

At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to

1) Carry out systematic checks and tests of emergency fire pump, various fixed firefighting systems, lifeboats, life rafts, life buoys, emergency headquarters etc; and ensure that these spaces are compliant and ready for inspection.

2) Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the SCBA compressor and will able to ensure the SCBA compressor is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use.

3) Demonstrate the various checks required to be carried out for various extinguishers, fire hoses, fire hose boxes and couplings and able to ensure that these equipment are compliant in all respects, ready for inspection and ready for immediate use.

4) Understand the responsibility and importance of having the right attitude when dealing with third-party inspectors, 

5) Understand the importance of good housekeeping, accurate record keeping and complying with the Company SMS, International statutory and Flag state requirements.

Course Description:-

This bundle consists of 8 modules, which include various aspects of engine room watchkeeping, including the engine control room.

This bundle focuses on the engine room. 

1) You will be in various aspects of engine room watchkeeping, including the engine control room and the testing and inspections of various machinery, UMS procedures, and various documentation, including the engine log book. This module will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors.

2) It will help combine your knowledge, core competency, your soft skills, your situational awareness and your attitude and empower you to be an efficient member of the vessel’s team.

3) It will assure the candidate on how to deal with third-party Inspectors professionally and how to handle the situation maturely. It also serves as a refresher training before any inspection and, in turn, will boost the candidate's confidence.  

Learning Objectives:-

At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to

1) Carry out systematic checks and tests whilst inspecting the engine room and the associated machinery; this will ensure that these spaces are compliant and ready for inspection.

2) Plan, manage and work more efficiently, which in turn will build confidence and improve efficiency.

3) understand the responsibility and importance of having the right attitude when dealing with third-party inspectors, 

4) understand the importance of good housekeeping, accurate record keeping and complying with the Company SMS, International statutory and Flag state requirements.
