The objective of this training is to provide training to acquire adequate knowledge of safe use of fall protection equipment, traverse and bar crane, hand hoist, electric hoist and portable winches, so that accidents are avoided by use.

Injuries to fingers and hands are the most common cause of lost time incidents in industry today. With consequences varying from just a few minutes away from the job for a clean-up and a small dressing, to life changing, this course is aimed at raising awareness of injuries to fingers and hands and how to avoid them.

Course Goal: This course aims to provide an overview of management of change. The course focuses on the steps of the management of change process, the roles and responsibilities of personnel, and the risks involved in change management and their associated control measures.

Course goal: This course aims to provide the knowledge and techniques for carrying out pressure testing and leak testing in the workplace.

LO1 Define what is meant by a leak test

LO3 Outline the role of the leak tester and the general requirements for leak/pressure testing

LO4 Identify examples of systems that require to be pressure or leak tested

LO5 Give an overview of the dangers of nitrogen and working in oxygen deficient atmospheres
