Course goal: This course aims to provide learners with an overview of industry best practice associated with gas treatment

This course consits of the following 7 sections:

Section 1: Introduction to Gas Treatment

Section 2: Problems Associated with Water in Gas Streams

Section 3: Liquid Desiccant Dehydration

Section 4: Solid Desiccant Dehydration

Section 5: Alternative Gas Dehydration Processes

Section 6: Acid Gas Removal Unit

Section 7: Removal of Other Impurities in Raw Gas Streams

Is there an assessment? 

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 80%.

The training shall provide competence in:

Weather reporting, communication and routines

Dangerous goods

Aviation fuel

Emergency situations and normal operations on helicopter decks

Fire practice

Protective equipment

After completing the training, the participant must be able to;

Use the helideck manual

Carry out communication and weather reporting by helicopter

Handle dangerous goods

Describe and perform inspections of the fuel system

Perform HLO's tasks in emergency situations and normal operations on helicopter decks

Use the appropriate extinguishing agent to extinguish a fire

Use protective equipment and smokediver equipment

Duration:

Duration of the course is 2 days.

1 day is 8 hours with a minimum of 6 hours of effective training

1 hour is 60 minutes

Submission:

The e-learning must be completed before the practical training.
