Ståltau har røket ved flere anledninger. Dette kan føre til alvorlige hendelser og i verste fall kan liv gå tapt. Kurset skal gi elevene god innsikt i prinsippene for ståltauets oppbygning, konstruksjon og virkemåte. Ståltau beregnet til løfteredskap, kraner og winch. Directing is said to be a process in which the managers instruct, guide, and oversee the performance of the employees to achieve predetermined goals.
