• gjennomføre søk og redning med riktig bruk av slukke- og verneutstyr
• bruke riktig slukke- og verneutstyr til å slukke en brann
• bruke verne- og pusteluftutstyr riktig, samt utføre sikkerhetskontroll av utstyret

Varighet

Varighet på kurset er 2 dager.

E-læring på ca 1,5 time gjøres hjemme før kursstart

1 kursdag er 8 timer med minimum 6 timers effektiv opplæring

1 time er 60 minutter

Siste kursdag avsluttes ca kl 1330.

Presentation

This training course is based on the Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea - 1972, (COLREG 72), which aims at determining the signalling system requirements for safe navigation.

Objectives

On completion of the training, students will be able to: Get familiar with steering and sailing rules. Understand the meaning and the positioning of navigation lights. Know the requirements of the Convention concerning lights, shapes and sound signals.

Certificate

On completion of the training program, the student will be awarded the following qualifications:

Certificate of COLREG awarded by Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore.

The Certificate of COLREG, issued by Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore, is obtained after completing the course and passing the qualification examination.

Course Description:-

This course has six modules that deal with cybersecurity; this must be viewed in conjunction with your SMS and your company-specific cybersecurity procedures and checklists. 

The course explains what is meant by lawful businesses, the cyber underworld and the common elements between them. 

Explains what is meant by targeted attacks and non-targeted attacks, explains what is phishing  

This course guides the crew to be safe from cyber-attacks and explains the common company cybersecurity precautions to be taken onboard. 

Learning Objectives:-

At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to, 

1) Explain the common cybercrimes and how the ships can be affected   

2) Explain all the precautions to prevent phishing and malware 

3) Explain what they could and should do to protect the ship from cybercrime  

4) Explain the precautions ship staff must take while browsing or downloading data

5) Have self-confidence and self-assurance and be able to recognise suspicious emails or pop-ups.

6) Comply with the company cyber policy on board.

7) Have self-confidence and self-assurance while dealing with third-party inspectors and answering questions related to cyber security.
