The Logistics course is divided into two parts, Art Management: Logistics Handling and Packing which is this one and another course, Art Management: Logistics Transport and Storage which will cover different aspects of the module.

This course will focus mainly on the packing and handling of such art and valuable artefacts. It will help you manage the risk because moving objects is one of the riskiest things you can do with them. Remember in our insurance course we mentioned that artefacts are unique and generally irreplaceable, so it is important not to damage or lose them.

This course will provide the trainee with information about fire safety, PPE and safety monitoring within the workplace. This course looks at safety at work, fire safety and safety signs, PPE, different types of PPE and correct safety monitoring. The aim is to help reduce the number of accidents and injuries in the workplace and to promote good attitudes amongst the staff.
