As a rule of thumb, you can say that with regards to an implementation of a change in a workplace, out of ten people, two are strongly against it, two are strongly for and six will accept it with the right argumentation. This course will introduce you to the principles of BRM and how it may be implemented on board a ship. Our intention with these presentations is to give you the correct arguments for advocating a philosophy that can make up for the fact that people will always make mistakes and create safer navigation.

Course Description:- The LSA and FFA Inspection Module 3 consists of five virtual tours. Here, you will be guided on how to carry out checks of various lifesaving and Firefighting appliances, how to test various associated equipment and ensure all the equipment is ready for immediate use. This course will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors. Learning Objectives:- At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to: · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the lifebuoys and the MOB markers and will be able to ensure that the life buoy is compliant in all respects, ready for inspection and ready for immediate use · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the Emergency escape breathing devices (EEBDs) and ensure they is compliant in all respects, ready for inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on Lifejackets & Immersion Suits and will be able to ensure they are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out prior to using the SCBA set; they will also be able to confidently check the fireman’s outfit, and ensure it is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Carry out an inspection of various FFA such as the International shore connection, Vent Fan Stops & Fire Flaps, Fire plan, and IMO symbols and will be able to ensure these are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use.

Laboratory safety is a significant legal and moral responsibility for those who work in both academic and industrial laboratories. This course provides health and safety information for handling laboratory equipment and chemicals, and provides safety and first aid related tips in the event of an emergency.

The Code of Conduct course provides an overview of the common values that govern responsible corporate practice and personal behavior in a company. The course will identify the responsibilities of employees and our common responsibilities toward each other in the workplace. 

You will learn about applicable laws on human rights, equality, discrimination and corruption. During the course, you will be asked to make your own decisions in relevant dilemmas involving sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination and corruption.
