This course demonstrates how to operate and manage the slop chest account, Master cash account and payroll account in COB.

Course Goal: 

This course aims to provide learners with an awareness of US best practice in relation to working with electricity.

Being able to respectfully, sincerely and constructively express your thoughts, desires and concerns in the face of a potential conflict or stressful situation is being assertive.

 

This course explains why it is more helpful to communicate assertively during conflicts or stressful events. This discusses the differences between being assertive, aggressive and passive when communicating. Moreover, this provides the general guidelines and techniques for communicating assertively.

This course is designed to provide electrical professionals with the essential foundational knowledge required for working in explosive atmospheres (Ex areas), in accordance with applicable Norwegian and international requirements.

 

The course is structured according to EX-KOMP:2021 and covers the key standards, regulations, and practical skills needed to work safely and in compliance within Ex areas.

The course provides the necessary foundational knowledge for working according to FEK and EX-KOMP and can be included as documented training in the company’s competence matrix.

This course delves into the critical role of Centrifugal Pumps in the Maritime Industry, covering principles, types and applications. Participants will explore pump classifications, including Positive Displacement and Reciprocating Pumps, and their pivotal functions in main engine cooling, ballast systems, bilge pumping, fuel transfer, lubrication and cargo operations. The course delves into operating principles, pump curves, performance characteristics and essential maintenance procedures. By the course's end, participants gain insights, helping them to understand pump selection, operation and maintenance in maritime settings for enhanced efficiency and safety.
