The course provides training in HSE and safe work in central operations for the supplier industry and shipyards. The course is a collaboration between Aker Solutions, Aibel, Rosenberg Worley and The Federation of Norwegian Industries.

Objective:

Everyone who is going to enter and perform work at the shipyards must have a basic training in HSE. This course provides such training.

Course Content:

Laws and regulations, access and security, protective equipment, working environment factors, external environment, and risk understanding are described.
Central work tasks and risks in these are dealt with. These are lift and rig operations, falling objects, barriers and signs, hand and finger safety, work over sea, hot work, welding and torch cutting, electrical work, work with industrial gas, pressure testing and pipe flushing, high-pressure washing, and more.

The principles in Life-saving rules are described and referred to in the work operations.

 

Who is the course for?

Everyone who is going to perform work at the shipyards. All personnel in the yard industry.
