Course type: E-learning course
Duration: 1 hour
Language: English

This regulation-focused course provides shipboard and shore-based personnel with a complete, practical understanding of how to maintain inspection-ready Ballast Water Record Books (BWRB) under the updated requirements entering into force on 1 February 2025.

Anchored in RESOLUTION MEPC.369(80) and the amended Ballast Water Management Convention (2004), the course translates complex IMO provisions into clear, step-by-step documentation methods. Participants learn how to record uptake, exchange, circulation, discharge, internal transfers, bypass events, and failures in a defensible, auditable format. Through real examples, case-based quizzes, and templates, seafarers develop confidence in creating logs that withstand PSC, flag, and company audits.

Course code: BAC-031
Course type: E-learning course
Duration: 30 minutes
Language: English

This course equips seafarers, officers, and superintendents with the psychological tools and operational strategies to maintain composure, clarity, and performance during high-stakes inspections such as SIRE 2.0, CDI, RightShip, PSC, and internal audits. By integrating behavioral science, human performance principles, and real inspection dynamics, it trains participants to manage cognitive load, stress, and communication under scrutiny. Through practical frameworks—such as the “Brief–Execute–Debrief” model, 4-4-6 breathing control, and adaptive communication scripts—crew members learn to demonstrate confidence, factual consistency, and professional discipline under observation.

Course code: BAC-024
Course type: E-learning course
Duration: 30 minutes
Language: English

This course provides comprehensive type-specific familiarization with MAN B&W two-stroke and four-stroke main engines (MC/MC-C, ME/ME-C, ME-GI, ME-LGIM, and ME-LGIP). Designed for engineers, technical managers, and shipboard officers, it bridges OEM standards with onboard practice through detailed diagnostics, maintenance, and optimization procedures. The program focuses on safe operation, emission compliance, and lifecycle management, enabling participants to interpret indicator diagrams, analyze KPIs (SFOC, Pmax, exhaust temperatures), and ensure audit-ready documentation aligned with Class, Flag, and IMO requirements.
