Målsetting:

Etter gjennomført kurs skal deltakerne ha de nødvendige kunnskaper som arbeidsmiljøloven krever av verneombud/ledere, slik at de kan utøve sine verv på en tilfredsstillende måte.

Kursbevis / sertifikat:

Et kursbevis vil bli utstedt til hver kandidate som har gjennomført og bestått opplæringen. Kursbeviset vil inneholde informasjon om opplæringssted, kursinnhold, dato for gjennomføring, kandidatens navn og fødselsdato og være signert av daglig leder/kurs-koordinator.

Assessment

Assessment has two attempts to pass at 70%.

Through lessons on IoT, real-time data analytics, and fleet management, participants will learn how to optimise ship performance, enhance safety, and reduce fuel consumption. The course also covers compliance with international regulations such as SOLAS, MARPOL, and the IMO's cybersecurity guidelines. Upon completion, learners will have a solid foundation in digital tools, preparing them to advance to the next-level course, which explores more complex topics such as AI, blockchain, autonomous shipping, and advanced cybersecurity measures.

In this course, we will go through a 5-minute yoga workout together with our instructor.

In extreme conditions or in summer climatic situations, it is crucial to understand how to dress correctly. This introductory course is based on these key topics: the three-layer rule, the importance of shoes and the accessories that should not be missing on board. Aldo Lavezzo, an expert navigator, teaches us how to dress on a boat starting from these three fundamental principles that every sailor or cruiser must never forget.

The life of a seafarer is by no means easy. Seafarers spend months at a time away from their loved ones. Needless to say, once the ship docks in port, many seafarers will often attempt to take some shore leave for a limited number of hours to provide them with a short respite from work duties and a change in scenery. This is extremely important to ensure the mental health and wellbeing of the seafarers.

 

In this course, we will provide you with all the information you need to know to spend a day in Mumbai.

To cover the basic concepts we shall start with a quick review of “Per Phase” & “Per Unit” methodologies system faults to analyse with the use of symmetrical components. System modelling will then be used in order to aid in the process, with the ability to move between asymmetrical and symmetrical systems.
