The purpose of the course is to provide future crane operators with good theoretical and practical basic training on permanently mounted cranes. The course gives students a good insight into the principles of the crane's construction and operation. After completing the course with a passed theoretical test, this, together with a passed practical driving test, will be the basis for issuing a crane driver's license G20 Fixed crane.

The training covers competence requirements in NORSOK standard R003N for Crane Operator G20.

Basic documented safety training for winch and personal winch operators – Module P-3.3. The objective of the training is that the person receiving the training acquires sufficient knowledge about the safe use of winches and personnel winches with associated equipment so that accidents during use are avoided.

A successful course qualifies for a certificate of competence on Winch Module P-3.3, approved offshore.

Objective:

The theoretical part of the training is fundamental to the practical part so that the participant gets a good understanding of the safe use of winches and personal winches with associated equipment.

The training is carried out with realistic exercises and safety aspects are emphasized. The participants carry out the exercises in groups in our training rig with the guidance of an instructor. Training ends with a theoretical and practical exam.

Passed course qualifies for a certificate of competence on winches approved offshore.

The course is aimed at those who are going to become expert inspectors on overhead cranes. The course is also aimed at people who carry out repairs and maintenance of overhead cranes or who want to expand their professional competence. It is recommended to have a G4 bridge and traverse crane course in advance. The course is in accordance with regulation on administrative arrangements best. 706.

Objective:

The course runs over four days with combined classroom teaching and practice. The participant must have passed a theoretical and practical test to be approved for the course. In addition, the participant must be able to document 48 months of relevant practice before an inspector's certificate can be issued. 

Course participants must be employed in a specialist business to be able to work as an inspector after completing the course.
