Course Description:- This lesson focuses on the accommodation spaces; you will be guided on how to carry out various checks around the accommodation. This module will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors. Course Description:- This Engine room course consists of six tours, where you will be guided on various aspects of engine room watchkeeping, including the engine control room, how to carry out testing and inspections of various machinery, UMS procedures, various documentation including the engine log book and last minutes checks prior arrival port. Learning Objectives:- At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to · Carry out a thorough self-inspection of the engine room, keeping it compliant and ready for any third-party inspection. · Appreciate the importance of documentation and how to fill in the logbook · To identify shortcomings and look for observations · Carry out various tests on machinery · Plan, manage and work more efficiently, which in turn will build confidence and improve efficiency.

Learning Objectives:- At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to carry out a round of the Hospital and carry out general checks and tests that are usually carried out whilst inspecting the Hospital and will be able to ensure that the Hospital is compliant in all respects and ready for inspection.

Course Description:- The LSA and FFA inspection Module 1 consists of four virtual tours. Here, you will be guided on how to carry out checks of the life rafts and various types of lifeboats as well as rescue boats, how to test various associated equipment and ensure all the equipment is ready for immediate use. This course will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors. Learning Objectives:- At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to: · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on a life raft and will be able to ensure life rafts are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on a free fall lifeboat as well as a totally enclosed lifeboat and will be able to ensure the lifeboats are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on a rescue boat and will be able to ensure the rescue boat is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use.

This course will also show you the most frequent checks and tests carried out by various inspectors and auditors. Learning Objectives:- At the end of this module, the candidate will be able to: · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the lifebuoys and the MOB markers and will be able to ensure that the life buoy is compliant in all respects, ready for inspection and ready for immediate use · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on the Emergency escape breathing devices (EEBDs) and ensure they is compliant in all respects, ready for inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out on Lifejackets & Immersion Suits and will be able to ensure they are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Demonstrate the various checks carried out prior to using the SCBA set; they will also be able to confidently check the fireman’s outfit, and ensure it is compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use. · Carry out an inspection of various FFA such as the International shore connection, Vent Fan Stops & Fire Flaps, Fire plan, and IMO symbols and will be able to ensure these are compliant in all respects, ready for an inspection and ready for immediate use.
