Description:
The Engine Room is the pivotal component in a ship's operations. As a new crewmember, it is best practice to understand the basics of the space you are entering, and what the chain of command is and increase your as well as your colleagues' safety. This is a general course. It is important to stress that you should always orient yourself towards your engine room's specifications and follow your shipping company-approved procedures. You will be presented with an assessment at the end of this course.
