In line with the Montreal Protocol, and as per MARPOL Annex VI, refrigeration installations must comply with various requirements, including the charging and discharging of systems, and the types of refrigerant utilised.
During this course, you will gain an understanding of the basic components and operation of refrigeration systems. You will also explore the regulations governing refrigerants onboard, the principles of leak detection, refrigerant charging and the problems/maintenance aspects associated with refrigeration systems.
