Students will be familiarised with the types of anchors and styles of the seabed. They will learn how to utilise different anchoring methods and manoeuvres when using one anchor or two anchors to anchor the vessel. Additionally, students will learn how to adhere to the safety distances when anchoring near other vessels and calculate the minimum required length of rope/cable for anchoring in the desired location.
