All officers and shipping managers of merchant vessels and fleets.

No previous experience is required to complete this course.

Upon completion of this course, you will understand the terms EEXI and CII, and the regulatory requirements of the legislation that created them. The course will step through the compliance processes for each aspect, and highlight the challenges faced in ensuring current and future compliance.

This course gives an introduction to the regulation of energy efficiency on ships, also known as the EEXI and CII requirements.

What standards are referenced in the course?

Based on parts of MARPOL Annex VI Regulations and Ship Energy Efficiency Requirements.
