This course is intended for port facility personnel.

The course will provide basic knowledge of maritime security terms, policies, levels and procedures.

The course will provide knowledge for all port facility personnel that are not engaged in security duties in order to implement the security awareness in accordance with the requirements of the relevant international legislation.

Based on parts of IMO Model Course 3.25; Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS '74 and ISPS Code; EU Regulation n.725/2004.
