Who is this course for?

This course is for deck officers and all crew members who work on bulk carriers, shippers who are responsible for shipping solid bulk cargoes and port authorities that manage ports, which handle solid bulk cargoes.

Is previous experience required?

No previous experience is required to complete this course.

By ensuring all deck officers, crew members and port authorities are familiar with the safe handling, storage and transportation of bulk cargoes.

​This course will ensure ALL crew members or shore staff follow the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code for the correct handling and transportation of bulk cargoes, to prevent harm to the cargo itself and the crew.
