Passenger and Crisis Management (STCW A-V/2-1 and A-V/2-2) Training

Description:

Before enrolling, candidates must confirm access to a qualified Onboard Assessor holding:

  • STCW A-I/6 Onboard Assessor or Train the Trainer certificate
  • Crowd and Crisis (Passenger and Crisis) certificate (STCW A-V/2-1 and A-V/2-2) 

Failure to meet the above assessor requirements will result in the training not being approved.

STCW Training for courses approved by the NMA.

Training includes:

  • eLearning (75 min)
  • Onboard practical training (6.5hrs)
  • Final exam (15 min) 

Please read the Evaluation Procedure for more information prior to starting the training programme.

Who is this course for?

All crew with responsibility for assisting with passenger and crisis management during an emergency.

Is previous experience required?

No previous experience.

Provides training of management during an emergency.

By ensuring personnel respond in an emergency to ensure passenger safety.

  • The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)
  • The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code
  • The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL)
  • Cargo Stowage and Securing (CSS) Code
  • International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW)

Is there an assessment?

Final Exam (15 mins)

Certificate:

Issued by The NMA which charge an additional fee.
